Mike is a former Worcester postman. You may even recognise him. But a complete change of career, based on his hobby of mountain climbing, means that he is now a Rope Access Technician.
In his new book Knickers, Biscuits and the Dark Arts of Rope Access, Mike bares all (literally!) about the industry and the tightly-knit community of guys you sometimes see dangling from buildings way above your head, the things they get up to and the things they can see through all those windows in high-rise apartments...
He popped into the studio to have a chat with Pete Phillips about the book and the life-changing decision which he made a decade ago (before marriage and children came along...)
